The Pontiac Trans Am is an iconic American muscle car, produced from 1969 to 2002 as the performance flagship of the Pontiac Firebird — including the legendary WS6 and Banshee variants.
The Trans Am entered pop culture through the Smokey and the Bandit film series (1977) starring Burt Reynolds, and the Knight Rider TV series featuring the black Trans Am KITT. The Trans Am name was applied to the most performance-oriented Firebird variants, including the SD-455 Super Duty of 1973–74, the WS6 Ram Air models of the late 1990s, and the 30th Anniversary 1999 edition.
The Trans Am is now highly sought after in the classic and muscle car restoration community, with the original screaming chicken hood decal, Pontiac arrowhead, and Trans Am logos all recognisable to enthusiasts worldwide.
Fits perfectly on car windows, bonnets, bumpers, helmets, tool chests, and workshop walls.
