Where the other nose-themed Calvin shows a side-on flick, this one is a straight head-on pick. The finger goes right into the nostril, the face stays blank, and the spiky hair sticks out above. The joke is the lack of any embarrassment.
The head and the hand form one compact lump, so there are no loose pieces and the shape is easy to place. It works at small sizes on a phone case or a helmet, and at the larger presets on a van window. Because the finger crosses the face, the cut leaves a few narrow slivers of clear vinyl around the hand, which the transfer tape holds in position until the sticker goes down.
Bill Watterson's strip ran from 1985 to 1995, with plenty of schoolboy gross-out moments like this one. Two heads are supplied per pack.
