Herbert Austin founded the Austin Motor Company at Longbridge, Birmingham, in 1905, and its British-built cars — the Austin Seven among them — carried a flowing script signature with a swash running beneath it. This sticker reproduces that script.
The word Austin is written in a slanted brush script with a tall capital A, and a long tapering underline sweeps from the end of the n back under the whole word. It suits a restored Austin, a classic car club stand, a garage wall or a toolbox.
Two identical stickers come in the pack, each cut from one colour of vinyl with no background, in a choice of 19 colours and a preset or custom size. Clean the surface, rub the sticker down through the transfer tape and peel the tape back slowly along the thin end of the swash.
