Why is the sign crooked? Because the car hit it. That is the whole joke of this third Be Patient I'm Lowered design: the words are calm and tidy, set in a soft rounded typeface over two lines, and the speed-bump sign above them has been knocked sideways on its post, with SPEEDBUMP cut out of the signboard in wobbly capitals. It is the gentlest of the three designs and the one that works for a daily driver as well as a show car.
Everything is one piece of vinyl: the two lines of text, the post and the signboard, with the sign's letters reversed out of the board so they show the surface colour. The sign sits above the right-hand end of the top line and gives the decal a little height, so it is closer to a square than the two strip-shaped versions.
Two identical stickers come in each pack. At the 10cm preset the sign lettering is tiny; 20–30cm is the window size where it all reads; custom sizes to 120cm are cut for a garage door. Nineteen colours are available; white on tinted glass, black on a white or silver car, yellow if you want the sign to look like a real one.
