Beater is the word for the car nobody worries about: the cheap runabout with a dented door, a mystery rattle and a roof that has seen better days. This sticker puts that attitude in lettering, with BEATER in thick rounded italic capitals and a clenched fist drawn in outline on the left.
The fist is built from fine open lines with a jagged break where the knuckles meet the first letter, so it looks like it is punching its way into the word. The lettering itself is solid and heavy, which keeps the sticker readable even at 15cm on a scratched bumper.
It suits the rear glass, a quarter panel, a boot lid or the tailgate of a pickup. Plenty of owners put it on a car deliberately to say it is meant to be driven, not polished. Two copies are supplied, one per side or one spare for the next beater.
