Next to the other solid beavers in the range, this is the barest. The first silhouette has a white eye cut into the head; this one has nothing inside the shape at all, just the outline of a rounded back, a blunt sloping face, a single forepaw stretched forward, a hind foot on the ground and a broad paddle tail that sweeps down and then flares at the tip.

The tail is the clue that it is a beaver, and it is drawn properly wide and rounded, not narrow. The result is the sort of shape a sign painter or a stencil cutter would produce, and it works for exactly that: a canoe, a rowing boat, a park or trail sign, a mailbox, a trailer or a shed door.

Because the whole thing is a single piece, there are no tiny parts to lift. The two beavers face opposite ways, one stacked above the other.
