A toucan's bill can be nearly a third of its body length, and this drawing makes the most of it: the beak is a thick, smooth curve that is cut as part of the solid black shape, with only a small gap to separate it from the head.

The body is a simple oval that tilts forward, with a hairline white outline where the wing meets the chest and another round the base of the neck. A small white circle marks the eye. Underneath, a hooked foot grips an invisible perch and three tail feathers fan out to a point.

One toucan faces left and the other right, so they look at each other when set apart and back-to-back when set together.
