Cut from high-temperature cast vinyl rather than the standard calendered film used for bodywork. That matters on a caliper, which sits directly in the heat path from the disc and pads and cycles between ambient and very hot every time the car is driven. Ordinary sticker vinyl shrinks, lifts at the edges and discolours in that environment.
ADVICS is the Japanese braking specialist formed as a joint venture between Aisin, Denso and Sumitomo, and supplies caliper and brake-system hardware to a long list of manufacturers. The lettering here is the wordmark as it appears on the caliper body itself.
What is in the pack
What You Get
- Six individual stickers, 80–100mm wide
- Fitting instructions included
- Enough for all four calipers plus two spares
Preparation does most of the work. The caliper must be cold, completely free of brake dust and degreased with isopropyl alcohol — not a solvent that leaves a residue. Position the sticker dry first to check the alignment against the caliper body, then apply from the centre outwards and press the edges down firmly with a thumbnail through a cloth.
Leave the car standing for at least 24 hours before driving so the adhesive can key properly, and avoid pressure-washing directly at the caliper for the first week.
