Sized for the flat outer face of a brake caliper, where the decal has to survive the heat coming off the disc through repeated hard braking. Standard sign vinyl fades and lifts at the edges in that position; the cast material used here is rated to hold on and hold colour.

Three sizes cover a car with different front and rear caliper dimensions, which is the normal arrangement — front calipers are usually the larger of the two. The pairs also mean a fitting mistake on one side does not leave the car mismatched.

Fitting

The caliper must be cold, and clean — brake dust is the usual reason a caliper decal fails early, not heat. Degrease the face, let it dry fully, then apply from the centre out. Avoid running the decal over a casting ridge or a bleed nipple boss; pick the flattest run of the face, even if that means using the next size down.

Measure the flat area before choosing a size. On most hatchback and saloon front calipers the 90mm or 100mm decal fits; smaller rear calipers and motorcycle calipers usually take the 80mm.
