Australia Day falls on 26 January, the date the First Fleet anchored at Sydney Cove in 1788, and this badge was drawn for the 2016 celebrations. It is a bright red disc with a navy ribbon wrapped across the middle, the ends folded back like a rosette.

The ribbon carries AUSTRALIA in white capitals. Above it sits 2016 between two thin rules, below it 26th January, and seven-pointed white stars — the shape used on the national flag — are scattered around the edge.

Each of the two stickers in the pack is printed on glossy vinyl and cut round the outline of the badge and ribbon. It suits a car window, a cool box, a party invitation or a souvenir scrapbook from that year. Wipe the surface clean, peel off the backing and press it down from the centre outwards.
