No one is quite sure who built the Maiden Tower or why. The stone cylinder in Baku's Old City is usually dated to the 12th century, though some believe its lower part is much older, and legends tell of a princess who climbed it to escape an unwanted marriage.
This sticker sketches the tower in black ink: the tall, round stone body with fine cross-hatching, the long buttress jutting from its side, a low stretch of wall and a bushy tree at the foot. It appears on Azerbaijan's banknotes and is one of the country's most recognised sights, a natural pick for a travel journal, a laptop or a suitcase.
Both stickers are printed on glossy vinyl and cut close round the drawing. Clean the surface, peel the backing and press each one down from the centre outwards.
