Labels reading made in a country are a familiar sight on product packaging, and this one borrows that look for Benin. The flag takes up most of the face, so the colours read from a distance: a green band at the hoist, with yellow above red across the fly.
The frame is a heavy black square with a slight curl at one corner, and the lettering MADE IN BENIN sits in a plain condensed typeface across the white strip beneath the flag. There are no extra symbols or decoration, which keeps it tidy beside other stickers.
Benin's flag has carried these three colours since independence in 1960 apart from the 1975–1990 period, which makes the design a good fit for diaspora travellers, football fans and anyone with family in Cotonou or Porto-Novo. Try it on a suitcase, a laptop or a car window.
