The letters are heavy, rounded capitals on two lines of equal weight, and they are reversed out of the black plate, which means the vinyl is cut away where the letters are. On a white door the lettering shows white, on a dark gate it shows dark, and on a window it shows the room behind it. Pick a plate colour that contrasts strongly with the surface for the most legible sign.

The rectangle has softly rounded corners and sits low and wide, so it fits a gatepost, a letterbox flap or a van door without covering much of it. The pack holds two identical plates, so one can go on the front gate and one on the back door.
