Liquigas is the bottled LPG side of the business — the cylinders and bulk tanks rather than the forecourt pumps — which is why the design is built as a long horizontal bar. It was made to run along the flank of a delivery truck or across the side of a gas cylinder cradle, and that origin is exactly what makes it useful on a decal today: it fits the long shallow spaces most badges cannot.

The dog sits inside a thin outlined square at the left rather than free on the yellow, which separates it from the lettering. The name is drawn with an inline stroke running through each capital and an accent over the a, and it carries most of the width.
