It goes on the tank or toolbox of a classic Matchless, a restored G80, a workshop wall or a helmet — the winged M from the London motorcycle maker, cut in a single colour.
Matchless bikes were built in Plumstead from the early 1900s until the late 1960s, and the winged M was their best-known badge. This version cuts the M out of a solid disc, with a jagged top edge, and the stepped wings spread beyond a double ring round the outside. Because it is one-colour vinyl, the M and the gaps between the rings show the paint underneath.
Two identical stickers come in the pack, in a choice of 19 colours and a preset or custom size. There is a printed red version in the range too. Clean the surface, press it down through the transfer tape and peel the tape back slowly.
