Silhouettes live or die on the outline, and this one is drawn from a standing adult side-on: the domed head, the dip behind the shoulder, the column legs and the short curl of the tail. There is no interior detail to lose at small sizes, which is what makes it work equally well at 10cm on a laptop lid and at half a metre on a wall.
The ear is the identifying feature. It sits small and rounded against the head — the Asian elephant's proportion — where an African elephant's would sweep out well past the neckline. The back curves up into a distinct arch rather than dipping in a saddle.
Supplied as two die-cut vinyl stickers so you can mirror them facing each other on a rear window, or put one on each side of a van or a bedroom door. Any size from 10–55cm / 4–21in, in 19 colours — matt black for glass, white for dark paintwork, or a soft grey for a nursery wall.
Transfer tape is applied over each sticker. Clean the surface, position it, work across with a squeegee, then peel the tape back slowly at a shallow angle so the trunk and tail stay down.
