The line 'It's what's for dinner' comes from a long-running American beef advertising campaign that began in 1992, and hunters have been swapping the beef for Bambi ever since. This decal does exactly that: Bambi in a flowing script across the top, a line-drawn fawn standing between two tall pine trees in the middle, and IT'S WHAT'S FOR DINNER in plain capitals along the bottom.
It is a hunting-camp joke, so it ends up on the tailgate or rear window of a pickup, the lid of a cooler, a deer-stand ladder, a camp fridge or the door of a game freezer. The fawn is drawn with spots and big ears, which makes the gag land harder, and the pines frame it like a scene from a children's book.
The whole design is cut from one colour of vinyl with no background, and the transfer tape holds the script, fawn, trees and slogan in position so it goes on as one piece. There are 19 colours available; white suits dark truck glass and black suits a pale cooler lid.
