The 13B is Mazda's twin-rotor Wankel engine, fitted across most generations of the RX-7 and carried into the RX-8. The "13B Inside" badge borrows its oval frame and lettering style from computer processor badges, turning the rotary engine itself into the bragging point rather than a chip inside a laptop.

Rotary engines run on a fundamentally different cycle to a piston engine — no reciprocating pistons, no valves in the conventional sense — and the JDM tuning scene has worn this badge as a marker of that difference for years, on RX-7 and RX-8s alike, and on piston-engined cars that have received a rotary swap.
Fits rear quarter panels, boot lids, engine bay covers and dashboards on any 13B-powered build.
