Use it where the car goes: the rear side window of an E30 Touring is the obvious place, but toolboxes, roof-box lids and garage walls work as well. BMW added the Touring to the E30 range in 1987, five years after the saloon, which keeps estates like it uncommon and well loved.
The drawing shows what makes the Touring different from the E30 coupe: the roof keeps its level height right to the back, the rear side glass extends over the load area and the tail ends in a nearly vertical hatch. Pillars are slim, and the bumpers are drawn as solid blocks at each end.
Wheels are empty circles under the arches. One copy faces right, the other left, so the estate points forward on both sides.
