Track maps work as decals for the same reason they work on a wall in a race shop: anyone who has driven the circuit recognises it instantly from the shape alone, and anyone who has not just sees a clean abstract line.
Aiginio sits in northern Greece near Pieria and is one of Greece's few purpose-built circuits, used for national car and motorcycle championships, karting and driver training. The outline here shows what makes it read at a glance — a long straight down one side, an open sweeping curve at the far end, and a tight linked infield section that doubles back on itself.
Cut as one line
The whole circuit is a single closed shape with the ribbon of the track cut out, so the surface underneath shows through as the racing line. That means it works on glass, where a solid silhouette would just look like a blob.
