Monokuma is the villain of Danganronpa, the Japanese mystery game series from Spike Chunsoft that began with Trigger Happy Havoc in 2010. He appears as a stuffed bear who runs the killing game and cheerfully announces the rules, and in Japanese he is voiced by Nobuyo Ōyama, better known as the voice of Doraemon. The contrast between the cute face and the cruelty is the whole joke.

This sticker captures the design clearly. The left half of the head is white with a thick black outline, one round eye and a rounded ear; the right half is solid black with a slit eye, a jagged grin of white teeth and a second ear. The two halves meet in a straight vertical line down the nose.

It is an easy fit on a laptop lid, a games console, a phone case, a locker or a convention bag. In a single colour on a transparent background, the white half becomes the surface itself, so a coloured laptop makes the face look half-painted.
