Owls are usually drawn soft and rounded. This one is built like a piece of tribal body art: perfectly symmetrical, with thick black lines and thin white channels, and nothing in it is left plain. It stands upright and looks straight out at the viewer.

The eyes are the first thing you see, two large rings each holding a solid pupil, framed by spiky lash-like strokes that run up into the brow. A small diamond-shaped beak sits between them. Below the head, the body narrows to a heart-like shape filled with mirrored scrolls, flames and loops, and two tiny curved feet sit at the base.

Symmetry makes it simple to centre on a surface, which suits a rear window, a bonnet, a tank, a helmet or the middle of a wall. The thin channels in the body pattern are narrow, so press down the middle of the sticker first and work outwards with a squeegee before peeling the transfer tape away.
