Most owl stickers in this range are filled in solid. This one is different, because the owl is drawn as an outline only, and the inside of the body, the belly and the head are open, showing whatever surface you stick it to. On white paint or a pale car it reads as a line drawing; on dark glass it picks up the colour behind it.

The linework is deliberately rough, as if drawn with a marker. Two pointed ear tufts stand up, the eyes look sideways and slightly upward with a white highlight in each, and one wing crosses the body, marked by short, curved feather dashes. Claws stick out below the base, and the chest is left open.

The outline is a single continuous stroke, which makes the sticker easy to line up with the transfer tape in one piece. It suits children's rooms, craft studios, school windows and anywhere a lighter, more sketched look is wanted than a solid silhouette gives.
