Austrian State Flag Stickers – Federal Eagle Banner, Pointed Base images
The Austrian state flag adds the federal coat of arms to the red-white-red bands, and this banner shows it clearly. A black eagle with gold beak and claws spreads its wings across the centre, a red-white-red shield on its chest and a mural crown on its head.
In its claws it holds a sickle and a hammer, standing for farmers and workers, and broken chains hang from its legs — added in 1945 to mark Austria's liberation. The banner hangs from a plain grey rod and narrows to a soft point at the bottom.
It suits a study wall, a history teacher's classroom, a car window or a collector's case. There are two in the pack; press each down from the rod and smooth carefully over the eagle.
