Compared with the flag-filled and 3D maps of Austria in this range, this one is pared right back: the country's outline is drawn using nothing but small black dots, the way old newspapers printed photographs, with no colour, no borders and no names.

The long shape is easy to recognise: the narrow tail of Vorarlberg and the Tyrol in the west, widening through Salzburg and Upper Austria to Vienna and the flat lands by the Hungarian border in the east. The dots bunch together in places and spread apart in others, giving a soft shaded effect. It suits a minimalist laptop, a notebook, a desk or a travel journal.

Both stickers are printed on glossy vinyl with a white background and cut to the map outline. Clean the surface, peel the backing and press each one down from the centre to the tips.
