Bangladesh adopted this flag on 17 January 1972, a few weeks after the end of the Liberation War. The green field stands for the land and its lushness; the red disc is the sun rising over Bengal and the blood of those who died in 1971. The disc is deliberately placed a little toward the hoist so that it looks centred when the flag flies. The very first version from 1971 carried a gold map of the country inside the disc, which was removed when the flag was standardised.
This sticker prints that flag as a flat rectangle with a soft fold of light across the cloth and the top-right corner curling over, as if the page were lifting from the surface, which adds a little depth without hiding any of the flag.
It suits a car's rear window, a laptop, a suitcase, a cricket bat cover or a front door for Victory Day and Independence Day. Printed in full colour on glossy vinyl and cut to the shape with a narrow white border; two identical stickers per pack.
