The green and red of Bangladesh were chosen in 1971 by the student leaders who designed the first flag: green for the land and its rice fields, red for the sun rising over Bengal and for the blood of those killed in the Liberation War. The flag was standardised on 17 January 1972, when the gold map inside the disc was dropped and the disc was shifted slightly toward the hoist so that it appears central in flight.
This is that flag with nothing added: a rectangle of cloth caught in a soft wave, the ripples shaded so the surface looks like real fabric, no pole, no rod and no frame. It is the straightforward choice for a car's rear window, a suitcase, a laptop lid, a cricket kit bag, a motorbike panel or a front door for Independence Day and Victory Day.
Printed in full colour on glossy vinyl and cut to the waving outline with a narrow white border. Two identical stickers per pack, so both sides of a car can carry one.
