This one borrows the look of a winner's rosette. The outer edge is a ring of fine gold points, inside it sits a thin gold rim, and the flag fills a round glass-effect disc with a bright highlight sweeping over the top left. Two gold ribbons with forked ends hang from the base and overlap in the middle, shaded so they look like folded satin.

Of the Belgian medal designs in this range it is the one with the busiest outline, so the points catch the eye on a plain surface. It works well as a congratulations sticker on a gift box, a sports bag tag for a supporter heading to a match, or a mark on a laptop lid.

Belgium's national day is 21 July, the date in 1831 when Leopold I took the oath as the first king of the Belgians, and the flag is the centrepiece of the celebrations.
