The RSV Mille (RSV 1000) was Aprilia's first proper V-twin superbike, launched in the late 1990s and later spun into the R and Factory editions — its Rotax-built engine went on to power the RST1000 Futura and ETV1000 Caponord as well.
This is that original model's plain block wordmark, cut flat in a single colour for tank sides and fairing panels where the factory decal has faded.
Later R and Factory editions built on this same Mille-derived platform, but this wordmark reproduces the original, unmodified RSV 1000 badge.
The Mille name itself is Italian for 'thousand', a reference to the bike's approximate engine displacement rather than a model year or edition number.
