Alliott Verdon Roe founded A.V. Roe and Company in Manchester in 1910, and the Avro name went on to some of the most famous aircraft ever built: the 504 trainer that taught a generation of First World War pilots, the Lancaster bomber of the Second World War and the delta-winged Vulcan of the Cold War.
This decal is the company's wordmark: AVRO in tall, narrow letters with a slightly art-nouveau feel, drawn in outline and squeezed inside an oval so the letters touch its edges. It suits a model aircraft display, a hangar door, a pilot's flight bag, a toolbox or a classic car with an aviation theme.
Cut from a single colour of vinyl with no background, only the outlines stay on the surface. Choose from 19 colours.
