Is it the same as the oval? No. This sticker drops the ring completely and keeps only the name, written in a mixed-case sans with a rounded capital B and two tall, perfectly straight l strokes that run the full height of the lettering. The e sits low and wide between them.

Without a ring there is nothing to frame the word, so the letters themselves become the shape, and the transfer tape holds the spacing exactly as it was cut. This is the version for flat panels where a cleaner, more contemporary look is wanted, such as a motorcycle fairing, a racing trailer, a cycling helmet case or a workshop door.

Bell has made helmets since 1954 and has used several forms of its name over the years, from the oval to plain lettering like this. Because the sticker is die-cut, the surface shows through the counters of the B and the e, and the colour you select is the only colour on display.
