Alquin were a progressive rock band formed in the Netherlands in the late 1960s, part of the same Dutch prog scene that produced Focus and Kayak. Their debut album Marks (1973) reached the Dutch charts, followed by The Mountain Queen (1975) and further releases through the rest of the decade.

The lettering

This wordmark uses a heavy, dripping hand-painted style consistent with the era's gig-poster and album-sleeve lettering rather than a fixed corporate logo – the band's visual identity, like many progressive acts of the period, varied release to release.

Die-cut, 19 colours, 10–55cm / 4–21in, applied with transfer tape to a guitar case, record crate or wall display.
