Almah is the Brazilian power metal project of vocalist Edu Falaschi, formerly the frontman of Angra, blending melodic heavy metal with progressive and symphonic touches since forming in 2006. Albums including Almah, Fragile Equality and Edu Falaschi built a following that draws from Angra's own fanbase as well as listeners of Helloween, Blind Guardian and Sonata Arctica.

Falaschi's dual role fronting both bands for a period gave Almah a level of songwriting polish uncommon for a side project, part of why its catalogue is treated by fans as a real second act rather than a lesser spin-off.
