Avon Motor Tour of Britain Stickers – 1970s Rally Logo (2-Pack) images
In the 1970s the Avon Motor Tour of Britain mixed circuit races with special stages, drawing touring cars, rally stars and even Formula 1 drivers to a few days of flat-out driving around the country. Avon Tyres put its name on the event, and its logo became a familiar sight on door panels and windscreen banners.
This printed decal reproduces that logo: AVON Motor in black with a red dot in the O, TOUR OF BRITAIN in black capitals underneath, all on a white panel crossed by a slanted red band with blue stripes at each end, like a period rally plate. It is a natural finishing touch for an Escort, a Capri, a Dolomite Sprint or any 1970s saloon built in historic rally style.
Both stickers are printed in full colour on glossy vinyl and cut to the outline. Clean the panel, peel the backing and press each one down from the centre outwards.
