Advanced Clutch Technology built its name in southern California making clutch kits for drivers who kept destroying standard ones — drag racers, autocross regulars and rally competitors putting far more torque through the driveline than the factory unit was ever asked to hold. The name got shortened to ACT almost straight away, and the swoosh-through-the-letters wordmark you see here is how it has been written ever since.
What is drawn here is the oval badge treatment. The A, C and T are joined by one continuous stroke that starts at the foot of the A and carries through to the tail of the T, with the full company name stepped down the right-hand side in three lines. The oval surround keeps the whole thing anchored on a flat panel, where a loose wordmark on its own tends to drift.
These are aftermarket decals, not parts-bin labels, so they belong on a car or a workshop where the drivetrain has already had attention: toolbox lids, cabinet doors, the underside of a bonnet, a rear quarter window, a race trailer flank or a pit board.
