The Boeing B-52 Stratofortress first flew in 1952 and entered service in 1955, and it is still flying with the United States Air Force, which means some crews have flown the same type their grandparents did. Its eight jet engines hang in pairs under long, drooping wings.
This decal shows the bomber as a solid silhouette seen from the side and slightly below: the long, slim fuselage, the swept wings with their engine pods, small outrigger wheels near the wingtips and the tall, upright tail fin. It suits an aviation fan's car, a hangar door, a toolbox, a laptop or a model-maker's workbench.
