Spec first: two die-cut copies of the same word, in a single flat colour you choose from the 19 vinyls. There is no shock-absorber drawing and no blue panel, only the name set in thick slab capitals.
The lettering is chunky. Every stroke is wide, the counters inside the B are small rounded holes, and the S has a flat spur at the bottom that gives it a mechanical feel. The N is cut with a sharp diagonal, and the letters sit close together, so the word reads as a single bar of colour.
Bilstein is a German maker of gas-pressure shock absorbers and coil-over kits, and a plain wordmark is the usual way to show what is under a build. It sits well on a rear window, behind a wheel arch, on a shock-tower cover, a toolbox lid, a garage door or the side of a track-day car.
