Cut for the Tracker Pro Team 170 TX, the 17-foot aluminium bass boat from Tracker Marine, this pair replaces or restyles the model lettering on the hull sides. One goes port, one starboard, usually on the forward hull just behind the bow or along the gunwale below the rub rail. At 55cm the script runs about the length of the factory graphic; custom sizes to 120cm are cut for a full-length hull strip.

The lettering is drawn as outlines rather than solid letters: Pro Team in a fast, connected script with a long tail off the P, and 170 TX beneath in thick slanted numerals with a keyline round each. Because only the outline is vinyl, the boat's own paint fills the letters, which is why it suits a two-tone or metal-flake hull. On a plain aluminium finish a black outline is the standard look; white suits a dark hull.

Tracker boats come from Springfield, Missouri, where Johnny Morris started the company in 1978 as the boat arm of Bass Pro Shops, and the Pro Team series has been its best-known aluminium bass line for decades. The same lettering is also listed for the slightly larger 175 TX.
