The largemouth bass is the fish that built a whole industry: tournament circuits, purpose-built boats, aisles of lures. It is the biggest of the black basses, named for a jaw that extends back past the eye, and it lives in warm, weedy, slow water across North America and anywhere else it has been introduced. This decal reduces it to the outline every angler knows.
Everything is in the silhouette: the hump of the back rising to the spiny first dorsal, the dip before the soft second dorsal, the deep rounded belly, the pelvic and anal fins underneath and the wide, shallowly forked tail. The jaw line is implied by the shape of the head, and the eye is the single cut-out. Because there is no interior detail, the shape holds at any size and in any colour.
Two stickers come in each pack as mirror images, one swimming left and one right, so they sit correctly on both sides of a hull or a kayak. At the 10cm preset it is a tackle-box badge; 30cm suits a truck window or a boat; custom sizes to 120cm are cut for a garage or a lodge wall. Nineteen colours are available; white on dark gelcoat, black on pale paint, or green for a more lifelike look.
