This is the bat symbol as it has looked in the comics and games of the last twenty years: wider, sharper and more aggressive than the rounded 1960s emblem, with the wings stretched into blades, the edges serrated and the whole thing tilted forward as if diving. It is the version most people picture when they think of the modern Dark Knight, and the one that suits a car bonnet, a bike tank or a laptop lid where a crisp graphic reads from a distance.
The decal is a single solid piece of vinyl with no background and no yellow oval. Each wing has three spikes along its underside and a hooked tip, the ears are two short teeth on a flat head, and the body tapers to a point at the bottom. The shape is more than twice as wide as it is tall, so it sits above a number plate, along the top of a rear window or across a tailgate without being cropped.
Two identical stickers come in each pack. At the 10cm preset it is a phone or helmet badge; 30cm spans a rear window; custom sizes to 120cm are cut for a bonnet, a games-room wall or a garage door. Nineteen colours are available; black on a light car, white on tinted glass, and the straighter-edged bat in this range is the one to compare it with.
