Every era of Batman has redrawn the bat, and this is the one from the 1960s television series and the comics of the same years: a stubby round head, two short ears and a pair of enormous wings that stretch straight out before curving down into scalloped hems. It is friendlier and more cartoonish than the sharp modern emblems, which is exactly why people choose it, for a Batmobile replica, a retro-themed car, a kid's bedroom door or a games-room wall.
The decal is a single solid piece of vinyl with no background and no yellow oval; the emblem stands on its own. Because it is so wide and shallow, it fits above a number plate, across the top of a rear window, along a bonnet edge or on the back of a laptop lid without being cropped. At the 10cm preset it is a small badge; 30cm spans a window; custom sizes to 120cm are cut for a bonnet or a wall.
Two identical stickers come in each pack. Nineteen colours are available; black on a light surface is the classic, white on tinted glass, and yellow if you want to suggest the oval without cutting one. The sharper modern bat and the Batgirl silhouette are listed separately in this range.
