A track map decal is a piece of shorthand. Anyone who has driven or raced the circuit recognises the shape instantly; anyone who has not simply sees a clean abstract line. That is why they end up on helmets, tool chests, trailer doors and laptop lids rather than on the car itself.
This one is the standard course at Adams Motorsports Park in Riverside, California — the layout most sessions run. The outline is unmistakable once you know it: a long straight across the top, a tight switchback complex at the left-hand end where the lap doubles back on itself, then an open sweeping return along the bottom. The infield loop that the other configurations use is left out of this version, which is what keeps the shape so readable at small sizes.

Because the artwork is a continuous line rather than a solid block, it pays to go a size up from what you first think — at very small sizes the thin sections of the line start to compete with each other. Around 15cm across is the usual sweet spot for a helmet or a laptop; a trailer door will take 40cm or more comfortably.
