It reads as a raven, or a very large crow: a heavy curved beak, a thick neck with a shaggy edge to the throat and a long wedge-shaped tail. The bird stands side-on, facing left, with its mouth open wide as if it has just called out.

The body is one big solid shape, and the only things that break it are the legs and feet, which grip a short flat bar at the bottom. That bar is part of the sticker, so it forms a little perch that keeps the bird anchored to the surface instead of floating.

Black birds suit a certain kind of display: Halloween windows, gothic bedrooms, Poe-themed bookshelves, motorbike tanks and van sides. In a lighter colour such as white or grey the silhouette stands out on dark glass. The shaggy throat and tail tips are the fine details, so press them down with a squeegee through the transfer tape before peeling.
