It goes on the side of a motorbike helmet, a bicycle top tube, a jet ski or the rear quarter of a car — anywhere a sense of movement suits. The flag sits at the leading edge on the left and the blue is stretched out behind it into dozens of thin, tapering streaks.
The Union Jack and the Commonwealth Star hold their shape at the front, and a couple of the Southern Cross stars ride along inside the streaks before the colour thins to nothing. Fit it so the streaks point towards the back of whatever it goes on, and the flag looks as if it is travelling forwards.
Wipe the panel with alcohol, then press each of the two stickers down from the canton end towards the fine tips, which need the most care.
