The Commonwealth Star below the Union Jack has seven points — one for each of the six states that federated in 1901 and one for the territories — and on this brushed flag it is the biggest, boldest element, sitting low on the left.
The left-hand edge of the paint is fairly straight, then the blue thins out into horizontal streaks that trail away to the right with white gaps between them. The Union Jack sits clean and bright at the top, and a few small Southern Cross stars appear along the trailing streaks.
The straight left edge makes it easy to line up against the edge of a window, a van panel or a box lid. With two in the pack, press that edge down first on each, then smooth across to the streaky end.
