Each decal is a row of six separate marks cut from a single colour of vinyl: an upright bar, a slanted bar, two more upright bars, a thin crescent and an open ring. Read left to right they stand in for the six letters of Balrog, B-A-L-R-O-G, with every letter stripped back to a single stroke.
Because the marks are separate shapes, the sticker arrives on one sheet of transfer tape that holds the spacing for you. Apply it as a row, as the maker intended, or cut the tape between marks and spread them out along a guitar case, a laptop lid or a car's rear window. The design is abstract enough that it works as a plain geometric pattern even for people who do not know the name behind it.
The strokes have slightly rough, hand-drawn edges rather than ruler-straight sides, which shows at larger sizes. Choose from 19 vinyl colours; black on a pale surface or white on dark keeps the marks crisp.
