Blood Red Shoes started in Brighton in 2004 as a guitar and drums duo, and their records, Box of Secrets in 2008 and Fire Like This in 2010 among them, are the reason this name turns up on so many indie rock stickers. Here it is written the way a fan might write it on a notebook or a gig ticket: three words squeezed tightly together in marker-style capitals and lowercase, tilting upward to the right.
The letters are uneven on purpose. The B and R rise taller than the rest, the S at the end of Shoes loops, and the strokes vary in width, so it looks written rather than typeset. That also means every letter is a thick enough shape to survive being applied to a bumper or a case.
Use it on guitar cases, drum shells, laptop lids or a rear window. White vinyl looks good on black; red is the obvious match for the name.
