Five letters, each one fat and blocky, with a scatter of small holes and nicks through the middle of the B, the O's and the M. They give the stencil a worn, inked-stamp look. Nothing is thin or fragile, so the sticker is very easy to apply and stays readable even at the smallest preset.

The M at the end is the most irregular letter, with a ragged right edge that gives the whole word an uneven finish. The two copies are identical and stacked one over the other, so they can sit on the two sides of a van, the two ends of a drum shell or the front and back of a helmet.

Because the flecks are open gaps in the vinyl, the colour of the surface underneath shows through them. White or yellow vinyl on black gives a stamped-on-metal look. Black on a pale panel feels more like a rubber stamp.
