AEM stands for Advanced Engine Management, a Hawthorne, California outfit that has been building fuel, air and ignition control hardware since the late 1980s — standalone ECUs, wideband controllers, cold-air intakes and the gauges that go with them. Most of the decals in circulation show only the three letters; this one carries the full company line underneath, which is how the mark appeared on earlier packaging and catalogue work.
Two weights are working together here. The AEM itself is an open outline, while the subtitle is solid — a deliberate contrast that gives the lockup its balance and keeps the small type legible when the big letters are hollow.
That subtitle is also what sets the practical minimum size. It is fine type, so order this one larger than you would a plain wordmark: around 25cm and up keeps the lower line crisp, and below about 18cm it starts to fill in.
Supplied as a pair of die-cut vinyl stickers, 10–55cm / 4–21in, in a choice of 19 colours, with transfer tape over the top so both lines move across together.
