Banksy Love Rats Stickers (2-Pack) – Rats Spraying Dripping Hearts images
The rat is Banksy's signature animal: it appeared on walls in Bristol and London from the early 2000s, cut from a stencil and sprayed in seconds, and it has been scrubbing floors, holding placards and carrying umbrellas ever since. This version, often called the Love Rat, stands on its hind legs with a spray can in its paws and a love heart it has just painted dripping down the wall above it.
The pack is a mirrored pair, one rat facing right and one facing left, so placed together the two rats face each other with their hearts side by side, which is how the design is usually applied. On their own they work either side of a door, a bed or a mirror, and they suit a laptop lid, a skateboard, a fridge, a car's rear window or a bare brick wall where the stencil look is at home.
Cut from a single colour of vinyl with no background, which keeps the stencil feel. Black is the obvious choice; there are 19 colours.
